FAQ

BESPOKE COMIC STRIPS

How long do the comics take to create?

Comic Strips take 2-3 working days depending on work schedule, digital strips can be processed quicker. Framed strips take 3-5 working days.

Can I approve my comic?

When creating the comic strips we will send you a rough pencil draft, once you're happy with this we'll get to work inking, colouring and making it great for you.

if I want a larger comic strip with more characters can this be done?

We have many variations on the site but if you need more panels/characters/larger format  we can do this , it's not a problem. Just email us at info@theartofokse.com and we'll give you a quote.

Could I use your comic strips in an explainer video for my business?

Bespoke comic strips are gifts, I will be happy to create artwork for an explainer video but these would have to be created as SVG, this is a vector  format and takes more time and we would have to charge a higher business rate .

if this is something you would be interested in please feel free to email us at Info@theartofokse.com and a member of the team will get back to you within 24 hours.

PAINTINGS

How long does a painting take?

This is a difficult one to answer  . A painting can take 10-15 working days  but it really depends on size, detail and workload  but if you needed a piece for a specific date let me know.

Can you paint anything?

if you have a decent high res image then I can paint it, even though I mainly focus on portraits I have also painted still life and landscapes.min the past

What medium do you use?

I use acrylics on high quality canvas, I have painted with oils in the past but I like acrylic better it dries a lot quicker. All my pieces are finished with varnish, this makes the colours pop.

Will it be signed?

All works will be signed and will have a certificate of authenticity.

How much are your paintings?

It depends on size and detail, if you are interested drop me a line at info@theartofokse.com

Are commissions expensive?

Owning an original piece of art is great , not only is it an excellent talking piece for your visitors , no one else will ever have that work, someone may have a print but if you own the original you have the blood, sweat and tears version ( would just like to state, no actual blood sweat and tears are used within the paintings, as stated earlier, it's acrylics).

You are not paying for the amount of hours it takes to create a piece you're paying for the amount of years it's took the artist to get to their skill level.

Buying art is definitely an investment.
